Youth Gathering
About Program:
Bab-ul-ilm Youth Gathering Program came into existence in April 2008 with a vision to facilitate the religious needs of Ith'na Ashari community in Mississauga. The program is equipped with highly qualified teachers to carry out discussions of Quranic and Diniyat subjects which will provide an in-depth training for both, youngsters and adults with the right knowledge to practice their esteemed religion.
Weekly sessions are held on every Sunday from 10:55am - 2:00pm. We are a non-profit organization which is managed and operated by volunteers. This program offers Diniyat (Religious) and Quranic education in accordance with the Inth'na Ashari school of thought.
Our Vision
Our aim is to provide Islamic education in accordance with the teachings of the QURAN (Holy Book) & the AHLUL'BAYT (Prophet and his family pbuh&hf), and to encourage the prosperity and growth of BIS within the bounds of the Sharia of the ISLAMIC SHIA JAFFERI FAITH in all its aspects. BIS envisages to be a welcoming institute for all individuals from all walk of life to work together and excel in religious education in a safe and healthy environment.
It will promote continued growth of students and staff as life-long learners within the Ja'fari Islamic values, while upholding and appreciating the changing Canadian society. With the support of the volunteers, the students will be able to develop their spiritual, intellectual and social potential. The institute will aim to develop self-worth, self-discipline, understanding of the rights of fellow human beings and above all, develop an integrated Islamic personality. All Muslims are welcome to join us.
Who Can Join:
Any resident of Western Toronto (Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton etc.) can become members of the this program upon payment of the fees. The Management will determine the fee from time to time.

Note: All subjects are compulsory and participants are expected to remain in the centre from 10:55 am to 2:00 pm. Please make arrangements to have your child/children picked up by 2:00 pm.
